抄録

To design a temperature-stratified water TES tank of high performance, it is very important to decide the design of diffusers used as inlet and outlet, depth of water in the tank, flow rate, temperature of inlet, and so on. To establish the most suitable operation of water TES tank, it is beneficial to use CFD for evaluating the thermal storage performance. In this paper, it is aimed to validate CFD. The result of CFD calculation was compared with the experimental data, and it was found that the temperature profile obtained from the CFD calculation corresponds almost to the experimental date.
