Abstract
The downtown of Kashiwazaki City received enormous damage by Chuetsu-oki Earthquake in 2007. This study investigates the reconstruction situation afterwards, and clarifies the relation between the land building right and the reconstruction situation. First of all, we execute the field survey for 11 towns, 125ha, to confirm the building reconstruction situation in 2015. Next, we classify the change of the building after disaster into three categories such as "Maintenance", "Update", and "Fade away". In addition, by confirming the land building right in 2005 using the cadastral map and the registry book, we classify the land into "simplicity" and "complexity". As a result of the analysis, we confirm that both "Maintenance" for the reconstruction situation and "Simplicity" for the relation of right occupies 80 percent or more.
