• Agenda and Action Needed for the Extension of Healthy Life Expectancy

抄録

What is required for food systems to extend healthy life expectancy? This symposium was organized to answer this question in cooperation with nutritionists and food system scientists. We will focus on four aspects, namely, 1) Japan's agenda in the context of international food supplies and nutrition-related issues, 2) desirable nutritional balance in Japanese diets, 3) health and nutrition issues of younger generations, and 4) food security for vulnerable groups in society. Four presenters will provide valuable evidences based on empirical analysis; subsequently, active discussion will be held.
