Abstract

<p>The Act on the Protection of Personal Information was enforced in 2017 in Japan. The act introduces the new concept of an Anonymously Processed Information and it is still being discussed how to transform personal data into this type of data. In EU, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been established. In this situation, this paper focuses on cases as follows: 1) How to protect the privacy of person a) who sends queries to the search engine from the search engine in terms of person's identity and b) question per se. 2) The method to protect the identity of person whose personal data is stored in the database.</p>
