Abstract

<p>アブラナ科のタネツケバナ属(<i>Cardamine</i>)は約200種からなる。日本の農耕地に見られるのがタネツケバナ,オオバタネツケバナ,ミチタネツケバナの3種である。これらの種を対象に,生活史,生態,進化,系統地理,外来植物,形態形成,ゲノムといった様々な観点の研究がなされてきた。本総説では,これまでの研究を概観し以下の点を論じる。①タネツケバナは<i>C. flexuosa</i>とは別種である。②タネツケバナの学名は<i>C. occulta</i> Hornem.である。③タネツケバナは外来種として世界の温帯圏に広がっている。④オオバタネツケバナの学名は<i>C. scutata</i> Thunb.である。⑤オオバタネツケバナは倍数化によるタネツケバナ属多様化の典型例である。⑥日本のオオバタネツケバナ集団には地理的遺伝構造がある。⑦ミチタネツケバナはヨーロッパ原産の外来植物である。⑧ミチタネツケバナのゲノムが決定し,モデル植物としての基盤が整備されている。⑨ミチタネツケバナの雄しべ数は温度に依存して変わる。これらの研究は,近縁種の分類と同定,農耕地への適応,外来雑草の侵入といった,雑草学研究にとって重要な課題を含み,研究の展開が期待される。</p>

<p>Genus <i>Cardamine</i> consists of ca. 200 species, and is one of the largest genera in Brassicaceae. Three <i>Cardamine</i> species occur in agricultural fields and surrounding areas in Japan, i.e. <i>C. occulta</i>, <i>C. scutata</i> and <i>C. hirsuta</i>. These species provide opportunities to study various aspects of weeds including their taxonomy, diversification, life histories, and molecular biology. This article reviews recent studies on these species. The following topics are discussed in this review. (1) The species occurring in Japan that has been recognized as <i>C. flexuosa</i> is a distinct taxon, (2) and its correct name is <i>C. occulta</i> Hornem. (3) <i>C. occuluta</i> is spreading its distribution as an invasive plant. (4) <i>C. scutata</i> Thunb. is the correct name for the species that have been refereed as either <i>C. scutata</i> or <i>C. regeliana</i>. (5) <i>C. scutata</i> represents a typical case of diversification of the genus through allopolyploidization. (6) A clear genetic structuring is present among Japanese <i>C. scutata</i> populations. (7) <i>C. hirsuta</i> is a European species that introduced into Japan recently. (8) <i>C. hirsuta</i> has become a new model species in which genome sequences is available. (9) Stamen numbers of <i>C. hirsuta</i> fluctuates depending on temperatures. The studies introduced in this review have approached major issues in weed science, such as taxonomy and identification of species complex, adaptive evolution in agricultural environments, and introduction of exotic species.</p>
