Abstract

The outcomes of patients with metastatic melanoma have significantly improved thanks to recent advances in immunotherapy. This report describes two patients in whom intracranial metastatic melanoma was surgically resected. Case 1 is a 55-year-old woman who presented with headache, vomiting, and left hemiparesis. Case 2 is a 70-year-old man with cognitive dysfunction and left hemiparesis. The role of radical therapeutic strategies for brain metastasis will become increasingly important.
