<p>Hospitals need to introduce and promote Business Continuity Management (BCM) to continue providing medical care during a disaster. Methods of introducing and promoting BCM have been presented in various documents including published international standards. However, they are abstract and definitive procedures have not been specified. In this study, we actually introduced BCM into Hospital X and extracted the problems in introducing BCM. We then investigated methods to solve the identified problems and propose introduction method of BCM. By using the proposed method, we can introduce BCM more effectively than possible previously and gradually build BCM.</p>
