Abstract
In the previously study we have reported on the application of VR haptic device in the simulation of osteotomy to jaw deformity. By operating 3-D CT image, cutting, separation, displacement and connection of the jawbone was possible. In the present study several simulations of osteotomies were attempted. Displacement and rotation of the bone were compared, and the suitable osteotomy was discussed.
