Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of sintering temperature on flexural properties of an alumina fiber-reinforced alumina-based ceramic prepared by a tape casting technique. The results showed that there were significant differences in the flexural properties between the alumina fiber-reinforced alumina-based ceramic sintered at the different temperatures.
