Abstract

<p>A reinforced concrete building was damaged by the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake. Functional use of the building was not allowed after the earthquake. In this paper, post-earthquake damage evaluation and static non-linear pushover analysis were carried out for the building. In the result, superstructure of the building was classified as moderate damage, however, damage classification of the foundation was heavy due to pile head damage. Furthermore, post-earthquake functional use of the building was discussed.</p>
