Abstract
Development process of the internal waves in the ocean by a storm event during a stratification season was computed by a three-dimensional ocean circulation model. Although the near-inertial oscillations were dominant in the most area, the oscillation components associated with the internal seiche were also recognized depending on the geophysical conditions. Dynamic mode decomposition revealed that internal waves in a storm event develop in a wider frequency range than that in a general weather condition. Vertical fluctuation of the flow associated with the development of the internal waves were also formed by following the dispersion relation of the internal waves.
