抄録
<p>Gamma-ray imaging for sub-MeV to a few MeV range is strongly required for nuclear medicine and environmental radiation monitoring. Compton imaging is one promising method because of its high probability of Compton scattering. However, Compton imaging suffers from low signal to noise ratio derived from its fundamental algorithm using Compton cones and its resolving power of distributed source is limited. It is also known some nuclides emit multi photons in a cascaded way with a short duration time. The coincidence detection of this cascaded gamma-rays could improve the signal to noise ratio by extracting the intersection of multiple Compton cones. Some experimental trials are shown here for this method.</p>
