<p>Various myoelectric prosthetic hands have been proposed as a substitute for the hands of those who lost their hands due to disasters and traffic accidents. Most of the prosthetic hands using surface sEMG employ a few electrodes and enable only full-open and close functions. To realize multi-fingered and natural motion with an easy calibration of a low-cost sEMG device, we previously developed a system that can generate multi-fingered and natural motion using a 2D latent-space of the multi-fingered and natural motion acquired by GPLVM, and showed our subjects were able to adapt to the system when the latent-space was visible. In this study, we further examine if subjects can adapt to the system when the latent-space is invisible. Experimental results demonstrate their adaptivity.</p>
