Abstract

近年,警察庁と国土交通省により自転車レーンや車道混在といった車道部の自転車通行空間の整備が推進されており,車道を通行する自転車の増加が見込まれる.車道を通行する自転車には駐停車車両の回避等の際に他車両と接触する危険性があり,後方確認や後方合図といった安全挙動の必要性が考えられるが,現行の交通規則は実効性に乏しい.そこで,本研究では,車道通行自転車の進路変更時における安全挙動に関してビデオ観測調査を行い,安全挙動の遵守実態の把握と安全挙動に影響を及ぼす要因を明らかにすることを目的とした.その結果,進路変更時に安全挙動を行っている自転車運転者は全体の半分以下であることが判明した.さらに,安全挙動の遵守率には,駐停車車両の路上占有幅,離隔幅,PET値,追い越し車種が影響を与える要因として抽出された.

Recently, National Police Agency and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism are strongly promoting improvement of the bicycle space such as bicycle lane. That's why the number of cyclists passing on roadway is expected to increase. Cyclists passing on roadway have contacting risks with vehicles when they overtake bicycles and parked vehicles. It's needed to look back or make a sign, but the accurate traffic regulations or manner isn't established currently. In this study, we conducted the video survey relating to safety behavior in order to reveal the influence factors of safety behavior by cyclists and observance of the traffic regulations. Consequently, it's found that the percentage of observance rate of safety behavior by cyclists is lower than half of the whole. Furthermore, it's elucidated that parked width of vehicle, separate width between bicycle and vehicle, PET index and type of an overtaking vehicle have a huge effect on compliance rate of safety behavior. We got the knowledge regarding to the traffic regulations and manner in order to improve them.
