Abstract

観光施策の検討において,周遊行動の実態把握は重要である.アンケート調査やプローブデータの利用など様々な方法が存在するが,コストや普及率の問題から十分なサンプル数を得ることは容易ではない.本研究では,パッシブなデータ取得手段であるWi-Fiパケットセンサーを用いた周遊行動把握の可能性を検討する.沖縄本島・本部半島周辺の複数観光地にセンサーを設置し,観光客が所有するモバイル端末からのプローブリクエストデータを複数日にわたり計測した.計測データからプローブリクエストの特性を把握し,来場者数の推定可能性を確認したうえで,複数地点での同一端末の計測情報を用いて観光地間のOD表とトリップチェインの作成を行った.来場者数の時系列変動や地点間流動量の大小関係について妥当な結果を得るとともに,課題を整理した.

Understanding and grasping travel patterns of tourism is of practical importance with regard to achieving more sophisticated planning for tourism promotion, sightseeing information provision and infrastructure development. There are many ways to survey such travel behaviour, however, all of them have some disadvantages like surveying cost and coverage ratio to obtain enough number of samples. In this study, Wi-Fi packet sensing technique is utilised to obtain the movement of tourists, OD matrix and trip chains. The sensors are installed for 4 days in 13 sightseeing spots in the whole Motobu peninsula, Okinawa island, which is one of the most popular resort in Japan. After confirming the features of packet sensing, we showed that this sensing method could estimate the number of visitors with comparison to count data at the gate of the facility. In addition, OD matrix and the list of trip chain were well obtained, especially for non-major OD pairs and chain patterns thanks to the proposed passive sensing.
