抄録

Effects of the edge serrations on the brittle fracture in the cutting of the soda-lime glass are discussed. The shaping process was performed by change in the tool engaging angle on the material cut to observe its effects on the brittle cracking. In cutting tests, characteristics of the brittle fracture were changed by the engaging angle.
