Abstract

In this paper, the authors analyzed the questionnaire survey of “municipal government staff's attitudes and issues toward collaboration with public health center” that was conducted on the website in December 2016. As a result, approximately 90% of the respondents collaborated with the public health center in that year. Approximately 70% of the respondents recognized the effects of the collaboration with the public health center. However, One-third of the respondents had not felt the need for collaboration with the public health center. Outside the public health center, the respondents were in collaboration with the Medical Association, the Dental Association, the Pharmaceutical Association, and schools. Thus it seems that the organizations that directly provide services to residents are collaborating with each other. In addition, there was a significant correlation between the effect of collaboration and the estimation of the collaboration with the public health center. In order to promote collaboration between health centers and municipal governments, it is important to collaborate with both health center and municipal governments while expecting to get concrete effects.
