Abstract

The Italian Republic is an especially major country for natural disaster amongst European countries. In 2016, Central Italy had severe damage from the big scale earthquake with four regions. Because of the large scale damage with historical towns, cooperative relationship between main actors including several level of government bodies is essential in order to implement prompt and long-term recovery vision and plans. This paper aims to reveal the characteristics of structure and relationship between actors at regional and community level. The result of this research indicated that: 1) parallel processes by the central government and municipalities toward temporary housing and commercial activities and 2) new cooperative relationship between government and academic institution at community level.
