<p>The research aims to provide support on national and city level capacity and awareness of Disaster Waste Management (DWM) in Nepal. Based on the consultation, interviews, survey questionnair and literature review, the status, trends and gap of the disaster waste management system (including in Policy, Institutions, Technology, Finance and Awareness) has been studied and a Strength Weakness Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analyses has been conducted. In the end, a list of the capacity building needs of DWM in Nepal has been developed and the priority capacity needs of DWM has been identified.</p>
