Abstract

<p><b>【目的】</b>OCT angiography(OCTA)を用いて1年以上の経過観察ができた健常眼を対象に、中心窩無血管域(FAZ)面積の経時的変化を評価した。また、経時的変化に影響を与える因子を検討した。</p><p><b>【対象及び方法】</b>対象は眼疾患の既往がない40眼(45.0歳)とした。測定は2回行った。1回めは基準となる測定(基準測定)で、2回めは基準測定から1年以上2年以下の間に測定を行った(1年後測定)。各時期での測定はOCTAを用いて右眼を撮影した。また、等価球面度数(SE)、眼軸長(AL)、網膜血管密度(RVD)、中心網膜厚(CRT)を評価しFAZ面積の経時的変化との関連を検討した。</p><p><b>【結果】</b>基準測定の平均FAZ面積は0.36 mm<sup>2</sup>、1年後測定は0.35 mm<sup>2</sup>で有意差はなかった(p = 0.81)。またBland-Altman解析の結果、FAZ面積の経時的変化の平均値は0.003 mm<sup>2</sup>であり比例的一致関係はなかった(p = 0.92)。SEとALは各測定時期の間に有意差(p < 0.01)があったが、RVDとCRTは有意差がなかった(RVD: p = 0.10、CRT: p = 0.20)。経時的変化に影響を与える因子について重回帰分析を行った結果、有意な因子はなかった(p = 0.70)。</p><p><b>【結論】</b>FAZ面積は2年以内での経時的変化はなく、影響を与える因子はなかった。</p>

<p><b>[Purpose] </b>Using OCT angiography (OCTA), we investigated the time-dependent change in the foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area in healthy eyes observed for more than one year. The factors affecting the area change were also examined.</p><p><b>[Subjects and Methods] </b>We included 40 eyes of healthy volunteers (average age, 45.0 years 45.0 years) without any history of eye diseases. The measurement for the FAZ area was performed twice. The first measurement was considered as the reference measurement and the second measurement (1-year measurement) was performed at 1 to 2 years after the first measurement. Both measurements were obtained for the right eye using OCTA. Spherical equivalent (SE), axial length (AL), retinal vascular density (RVD), and central retinal thickness (CRT) were also measured and their relationships with the time-dependent change in the FAZ area were examined.</p><p><b>[Results] </b>The mean reference and 1-year measurements for the FAZ area were 0.36 and 0.35 mm<sup>2</sup>, respectively; and no significant difference was observed (<i>P</i> = 0.81). In addition, the Bland-Altman plot analysis showed that the mean time-dependent area change was 0.003 mm<sup>2 </sup>and that no proportionality effect was observed (<i>P </i>= 0.92). Significant differences in SE and AL were observed between the reference and 1-year measurements (<i>P </i>< 0.01), whereas no significant difference in RVD and CRT was observed (RVD, <i>P </i>= 0.10; CRT, <i>P </i>= 0.20). By multiple regression analysis, no factor was found to significantly affect the time-dependent area change (<i>P </i>= 0.70).</p><p><b>[Conclusion] </b>The FAZ area did not show any time-dependent change within two years and no influential factor for the time-dependent area change was found.</p>
