抄録

Three-dimensional XFEM considering contact was applied to stationary crack analyses of an elastic plate with a through-wall crack. Since XFEM can model a crack independently of finite elements, stationary crack analyses and crack propagation analyses can be performed efficiently. In this paper, crack opening displacement, J-integral, and SIFs were evaluated by the developed in-house XFEM code. Also those were compared with the FEM analysis results by the commercial code Abaqus. It was shown that an almost good correlation between XFEM and FEM were obtained.
