Abstract
The purpose of this study is to construct the generative method for projection images fitting the three-dimensional structure of the gate called Tsudumi-Gate in Kanazawa. The form of Tsudumi-Gate is consisted of three-dimensional lattices of the roof and one-sheeted hyperboloid structures of the two pillars. In order to create projected images fitting the gate, the generative method was designed by computer graphics programming which is to create wavy patterns expanding on the lattice structure gradually. Each time the program was run, different wavy patterns are generated randomly and continued endlessly. Finally, we performed the projection mapping event at Tsudumi-Gate on 6th and 7th of October, 2018.
