Abstract
<p>Although arene hydrogenation is one of the most straightforward reactions to access saturated cyclic compounds, there were huge limitations mostly due to undesired hydrodefunctionalization reactions. This review focuses on recent developments of catalytic arene hydrogenation with high functional tolerance.</p>
