Abstract

<p>This paper focuses on experimental evaluations of acceleration responses of an active control caster. The active control caster composed of mechanism that applies the principle of center of percussion and active control of the voice coil motor (VCM). The control system controls the VCM based on the signals of two acceleration sensors mounted above and below the loading platform. In other words, it is a two inputs (multiple inputs), single output (MISO) system. In this paper, we describe a prototype of a cart using the four active control casters.</p>
