Abstract
<p>In dynamic fracture caused by collision between solids, fast crack propagation is observed. The fracture behavior are strongly dependent on state of the collision. In order to study basic knowledge, a fracture test in which a shock eccentric load due to a striker collision is applied using a three-point bending pre-crack specimen made of brittle metal is conducted. In addition, a plane strain fracture toughness test is also performed under quasi-static condition and compared with dynamic fracture toughness.</p>
