Abstract

The angular momentum compensation temperature, TA, in transition metal rare earth (TM-RE) ferrimagnetic materials is a crucial property for utilizing antiferromagnetic spin dynamics, which is much faster than its ferromagnetic counterpart. However, reports on the estimation of TA in ferrimagnets are limited. In this study, we measured the temperature dependence of the spin magnetization and orbital magnetization of GdFe amorphous perpendicular magnetization film by using magnetic Compton scattering. Then, we estimated TA experimentally.
