<p>A method of 3-D shape recovery employing uncalibrated cameras is described. Three-dimensional shape recovery has long been studied to date and has various application fields. An established method for 3-D shape recovery is based on stereo cameras which necessitates camera calibration in advance. In this paper, a 3-D shape recovery method by uncalibrated cameras is presented, which ranges from the recovery of partial shape of an object to its entire shape. One of the main advantages of the present method is that the shape recovery is not restricted to a video capture site such as a studio, if only videos are able to be taken by cameras. </p>
