Abstract

<p>消化管の運動原理は数多くの研究者によって観察・記述され，理解されてきているが，脳（自律神経）・腸管神経系・内分泌・腸内細菌叢の相互作用を統合して運動する消化管は，知見が蓄積するほどにその複雑性が明らかになり，現在でも最先端の研究領域になっている．そこで本号の特集では，重要性が増している消化管運動研究にスポットを当て，これまでの知見を紹介する．本特集別稿の先生方が紹介される総論の理解の一助になるよう，本稿では，これまでの消化管収縮運動研究の興隆と現在まで知られている消化管収縮運動モデル，さらには消化管運動調節機構を概説する．</p>
