In recent years it is important for tourism industry to promote tourism from China. However, there is not enough information about the opinions of Chinese tourists concerning Japanese tourist resources and tourist facilities. This paper examines the opinions of Chinese students on tourist resources and tourist facilities in Toyama and Gifu prefectures. The researchers came to the following conclusions: First, there is no interrelation between the birthplace of Chinese students and their opinions on tourist resources and tourist facilities in Toyama and Gifu prefecture. Second, there are some similarities in opinions of male students and female students. Third, compared to the male students, the female students are more attentive to details and precise in their comments on tourist resources and tourist facilities.
