Abstract

The stabilized ISPH method is a particle method for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and is characterized by adding a relaxation term with respect to particle density in the pressure Poisson equation. This paper derives an optimal relaxation coefficient in the sense that minimizing coefficient in an error estimate of the time discretization scheme corresponding to the stabilized ISPH method.
