抄録

近年,WWWサーバへのアクセス集中やインターネットの輻輳により，欲しい情報を確実に受信できないという問題が顕在化している．特に最近盛んなイベント映像の配信では，映像が途切れたり，全く視聴できないという事態を招いている．そこで我々は，1対多型の通信サービスを利用し，WWWページやライブ映像などのインターネットコンテンツを100万規模のユーザヘ同時配信可能なシステム｢VideoDome/ InterDome｣ を開発した．

This article describes a WWW contents transmission system "VideoDome/InterDome" using point-to-multipoint telephone service called "DataDome/TeleDome", it provides simultaneous distribution of real-time video and files to a million users without access congestion using our stream-type data transmission method over a one-way telecommunication network. Becacuse the VideoDome/interDome distribution server system can be constructed from one personal computer and one ISDN line, its allows distribution centers to be made at a low cost.
