Abstract

練り供養とは，演者達が仏や菩薩などに仮装して行列を組み，現世から極楽浄土への過程を模した橋の上で行進や所作を行う宗教劇である．一般的に練り供養では，仏面や仏像そのものの形状情報や演者の所作等の動き情報，またこれに同期した雅楽等の音声情報が含まれるため，静止画を中心とした文化情報資源や映像情報を中心としたアーカイブとは異なるアーカイブ方式が必要となる．そこで本研究では，練り供養に関する情報を構造化して記述する方法を提案し，岡山県の千手山弘法寺の練り供養についてデジタルアーカイブ化を行った．さらに，アーカイブ化したデータの一部を用いて博物館展示を支援するコンテンツの制作を行った．

Nerikuyo is a religious drama that represents the process of life transitioning from this world to the Pure Land, the Buddhist realm of enlightenment. Performers make a procession on a bridge and perform as Buddha and Bodhisattva with masks and costumes. The progress of this procession generally features traditional action as well as ancient court music synchronized to the performers, and these make up the information about Nerikuyo. Since this is different from the cultural information resources of still images and video archives, a specific method is needed to archive Nerikuyo. In this study, we propose a structured description method to represent Nerikuyo, which we have used to archive the Nerikuyo of Kobo-ji Temple in Okayama. Furthermore, we produced contents to support an exhibition at museums by using a part of the archived data.
