Abstract

本研究は，近現代京都のミクロレベルの地域分析の基礎資料となる，小地域の社会経済統計データベースを構築するとともに，その検索・利用システムを開発し，その利用例を示すものである．データベース化の対象とする資料には，町丁や小学校区単位などの小地域で集計された統計資料だけでなく，所在地の情報から小地域レベルで集計可能な名簿や名鑑などの資料も含まれる．これらのデータベースから，必要とする情報を効率よく抽出できるように，キーワード検索だけでなく，当時の地図をデジタル化したものなどの地図データを利用したGoogleMapsAPIによる空間検索も組み込んだデータベースの利用システムを開発する．最後に，本システムの利用例として，明治末期の京都における社会経済的な居住分化に関して，若干の検討を加える．

The main purpose of this paper is to build the database of small area statistics about socio-economic phenomena in modern Kyoto. The sources of this database are small area statistics and business directories in Kyoto city. Additionally, we develop a browser-based interface for searching for the statistical data. The users of this application can retrieve information from the database using not only keywords, but also Ajax-based maps. For example, the population census organized by the Kyoto city government in 1911, that is one of main contents of the database, will provide some findings about the urban structure in modern Kyoto to us.
