ユニケージ開発手法はUNIX哲学に基づいたシステム開発手法であり，企業システム開発に20年の実績がある．ユニケージではUnixの機能のみを用いてシステムを構築する．ファイルシステムにテキストファイルとしてデータを格納し，シェルを通じてコマンドでデータを処理することにより，データベースの機能を実現する．本発表では，RDBMSと比較しながらユニケージ開発手法に基づくデータベースシステム構築の方法について概説し，これを通じてシェルの記述規約とコマンド群について概説する．

The Unicage development method is a system development method based on UNIX philosophy, and has a record of 20 years in corporate system development. Unicage bulids database systems using only Unix functions, storing data in text files in Unix file system and processing the data with the command through Unix shell. In this presentation, we outline the method of building the database system based on the Unicage development method compared with the RDBMS, and introduce the shell description rules and commands through this outline.
