統計的検定学習支援用ウェブアプリケーションBuMocの開発

抄録

2008年に日本においても新しい学習指導要領が改訂され，公式を暗記して計算練習する旧来の統計教育ではなく，データに基づく科学的な問題解決力をコンピテンシーとして定着させる，新しい枠組みの下での統計教育を指向している．しかし，一般に，データ分析の経験がなく，抽象化された演繹的思考法を主に教授してきた学校の教員にとって，どのようにこの授業を展開していけばいいのか，現場の戸惑いの声は大きい．そこで，統計分析の知識や経験がなくても，計算の仕方や数式，公式が分からなくても，適切かつ手順をふんだ関連のある複数の検定結果が同時に得られ，また，採用できる検定結果とできない検定結果が視覚的に見分けられる機能を備えた統計的検定の学習支援システムを開発した．本システムを用いることで，比較したい群をドラッグアンドドロップで指定するだけで正規性の検定から多重比較まで23種類の検定結果が得られる．受講者数100人を超える大学3年生の授業でシステムの有用性を確認した．授業実施前と後における対応のある差の検定結果，高い有意差が認められた．ユーザはシステムのマニュアルを読むことで自主的に各種検定手法を学ぶことができることが示唆された．

In 2008, the new course of study was revised in Japan, instead of traditional statistical education to practice calculation by memorizing the formula, it is oriented towards statistical education under a new framework of establishing scientific problem solving ability based on data as a competency. In general, however, the school teachers have mainly taught the abstracted deductive thinking method without data analysis experience. There is also great apprehension from them because they do not know how to develop this lesson. Therefore, we developed a web application for learning support of statistical tests. Even if they do not have knowledge or experience in statistical analysis, they can obtain multiple relevant test results that are appropriate and procedural at the same time. In addition, the web application has a function that can visually distinguish between test results that can be adopted and test results that can not be taken. Using the web application, 23 types of test results are obtained from the test of normality to multiple comparison only by specifying the group to be compared by drag and drop. We confirmed the usefulness of the web application among 100 third year university student participants. As a result of statistical significance test of the difference between responses before and after the class, a very high significant difference was recognized. Furthermore, it is suggested that users can learn various test methods voluntarily by reading the manual of the web application.
