As a basic study on synthesizing voice sounds involving emotions, the relations between emotions and accoustical features of voice sounds, frequency features and so on, are discussed in this paper experimentally.<br>First, the voice sounds are recorded involving emotions which subjects imitate. Then their sound waves are analyized accoustically. The results show that the values of some accoustical parameters become different as emotion changes.<br>Second, from the results of the analysis, sound waves are synthesized varying the values of the accoustical parameters. Using these sounds the listening tests are performed. From the results it is comfirmed that the impression about emotion changes as the values of the accoustical parameters vary.
