Abstract
In the simulation of e-coating, we analyzed the paint thickness by modeling the whole car body and the paint tank accurately, and considering the car body movement in the paint tank. With this procedure we can simulate influence of the painting conditions. And in addition, it becomes possible to calculate the total amount of paint that is deposited to the entire car body.
