Abstract

<p>In this study, individual guidance was given to middle-aged men (10 people) and the results were examined.</p><p>This instruction uses a “meal balance plate” that makes it easy to grasp the appropriate amount for one meal as a way to learn “self-management of the diet” and “meal improvement”.</p><p>As a result, lipid intake decreased significantly from 78.3 g (± 25.1) before the instruction to 55.5 g (± 14.6) after the instruction (p = 0.037). Also, it influenced the “Self-efficacy of dietary behavior” and “Eating behavior” and brought about desirable changes.</p><p>As for the evaluation of the “meal balance plate”, five people (50.0%) answered “Yes” to the question of “Are you having problems using meal balance plate?”</p><p>After this, we will further devise meal balance plate. And I want to Work on the development of teaching materials and “dietary education program” that can be practiced in eating habits.</p>
