Abstract

<p>The Faculty of Fisheries, Nagasaki University has run an adult education curriculum “the marine cybernetics program” since 2007 as a 2-year course. This program changed to 1-year course in 2017. Until now, 100 or more persons have graduated from this program. The multidisciplinary approach is a basic philosophy of this curriculum. The graduates are expected to become the talented persons such as the leaders which solve many problems which occur in the activities of fisheries related business. This program was joined to the faculty students’ seminar in 2017, and they obtained the opportunity of practical learning. Cooperation with graduate education is now under arrangement as a plan for next reform.</p>
