Abstract

These days, some new libraries consider themselves as a place to stay not only as a place to borrow books. At these libraries, the reading place is being diverse so as users can stay for a long time. In the reading area of these libraries, we can see some users choosing a seat which is little away from other user who is already seated. In this study we conducted a field survey at the public library and investigated how the user’s choice of seat will change when other people are already seated.
