抄録

We report a very rare case of actinomycosis in the submandibular gland, in which malignancy was suspected.A 56-year-old male visited our clinic with the chief complaint of a painless mass in the right submandibular region.From the imaging diagnosis, we suspected malignant tumor in the submandibular gland.Under general anesthesia, right radical neck disection and excision of submandibular gland with the above mass were carried out.Histopathologically, the diagnosis of actinomycosis of the submandibular gland was made.During postoperative 2 years, recurrence has not been observed.With regard to diagnosis, it is necessary to differentiate this disease from other benign or malignant tumors.
