総説誌（神経学）を対象とした引用文献中の日本人筆頭著者論文の分析

• An analysis of references by Japanese first authors in review articles (Neurology).

抄録

A two-step model was made from 85 Journals of Neurology cited in the Science Citation Index/Journal Citation Reports (1984) and Index Medicus (1985). The results showed that 5 Core Journals of Neurology, ie, Brain Research, Neurology, Archives of Neurology, Journal of Comparative Neurology and Journal of Neurosugery were abstracted. Another study was carried out on the distribution of the year of foundation for the 195 neurological journals in “Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory (1985)” and 33 neurological Journals in “List of Current Periodicals Acquired by the Japanese Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Libraries (1986)”. The peak year of foundation was 1970 and the numbers of Journals were 62 and 14, respectively. Eight hundred and ten references were analyzed in which Japanese researchers were given as the first author. Compared with “Immunology”, in “Neurology” the citation age was older and the number of co-authors was much smaller.
