Here we describe two women aged 25 and 36 years, whose clinical findings were characterized by angioedema, urticaria, marked leukocytosis with eosinophilia, and benign course with antihistamine therapy or spontaneous remission. Both patients had been suffering from chronic urticaria for one to several years before these symptoms developed. No evidence was found for cardiac or other visceral organ involvement. We compaired clinical and epidemiological findings of the Japanese cases with those of other countries reported in the literature.
