Description
This volume integrates biochemical and physiological data with that of animal production of meat, milk and eggs. It describes, dynamically and quantitatively, the nutrient and metabolite flow through metabolic pathways from the site of adsorption to the site of production. The numerous tables and figures accompanying the text enable the reader to use the large amount of biochemical and physiological data in the prediction of production, estimation of nutritional requirements, and in the elucidation of production control.
