内容説明

Modern clinical laboratories offer a wide range of analytical services and the results of many of the tests provided are reported in numerical format. There has long been a need for a basic text dealing with both the more numerical aspects of interpretation of clinical chemistry laboratory data and the many factors, other than disease, which affect the results of clinical laboratory tests. This book was written to fill this need and to provide an up-to-date but concise summary of basic information which was formerly available only in papers, reviews or more complex specialist books, or only briefly discussed in basic texts. It is designed for the use of medical students in the later years of their courses and for those preparing for examinations in clinical chemistry, chemical pathology, medical laboratory sciences and medical technology.
