内容説明
This book considers how Marxist sociological theory has developed as an organic part of modern culture, reflecting as well as interpreting economic, social and political reality. Its wide-ranging analysis brings together perspectives from the USSR and the Eastern Bloc, from the US, western Europe and the Third World. Despite shared concerns and methodology, these studies show that the different social and historical circumstances in which each perspective has developed is reflected in its contemporary theory.
