内容説明
This is the second volume in a series concerned with the contribution of psychiatry and psychology to all aspects of crime, offenders, the law, legal processes, the treatment of offenders and the criminal justice system. It is hoped that the series will complement existing journals and stimulate further research into all areas of forensic psychiatry and psychology. This particular volume is about the reactions to crime by politicians, the public, police, courts, and prisons. The chapters not only consist of reports of empirical research projects but include policy considerations, theoretical contributions and "state of the art" reviews.
