内容説明

Focuses on the parallel dichotomies of thought regarding power that have evolved within the disciplines of economics, industrial relations, political science, and sociology. This dichotomy is represented on the one hand by those social scientists who hypothesize that power is derived from social structure and on the other by those scientists who postulate that power is attained through the behavioral attributes of social actors. The purposes of this book are to enlighten the reader as to the nature of this dichotomy within these respective social sciences and to bring the concept of power into clearer focus.
