内容説明
This book presents an orderly approach to the prudent use of imaging techniques for the investigation of patients with hepatobiliary disease. Part one sets forth the indications for the various radiological tests. Clinical situations are depicted with guidelines for the selection of the most effective and least costly routine. Simplified flow charts are supplied as a guide to diagnosis. Common and unusual conditions are illustrated, thus providing an imaging atlas of hepatobiliary disease. Part two describes the interventional techniques available for the investigation and treatment of patients with disorders of the hepatobiliary system. Contributors come from both sides of the Atlantic and a common approach to clinical situations has been attained. The text will be of value to physicians, surgeons, radiologists and house staff, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students. It will be of particular use to those preparing for higher examinations.
