Description
Twelve real case histories illustrating common psychiatric conditions and their treatment are presented in this book. The factors influencing diagnosis and treatment are considered, and readers are encouraged to develop their own formulations to compare with those of the authors. The approach will be useful to both trainee and practising psychiatrists to improve their skills in dealing with patients. The detailed narrative method of presentation also provides a good introduction to the rationale of psychiatric treatment for other health professionals.
